Not Just English

The Nelson English Centre doesn't just teach English.

Wednesday evening is Pub Night. The students and teachers meet in the popular Victorian Rose pub.

The school also organises weekend sailing, kayaking, biking or walking trips to some of the most exciting destinations in the Nelson area.

Many of the photos in the Kiwivelo Riders' Gallery are from such trips.

English School

While you are training in Nelson, you have a great chance to study English.

The English School package has two options, part time course (morning classes, 15 hours per week), or the intensive course (morning and afternoon classes, 23 hours per week). Classes are run by the Nelson English Centre.

You will be placed in one of five different classes depending on your ability. There are never more than 12 people per class so you get plenty of personal tuition.

Classes consist of a balanced programme of listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and writing.

The Nelson English Centre is a member of the Federation of Independent English Language School's New Zealand (FIELSNZ) and is registered and accredited with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
